2009 Kangaroos reunion

One of Australia’s oldest living Test players Noel White is set for a grand entrance via chartered helicopter to the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday for the 2009 ARL Kangaroos Reunion.

The 85-year-old winger for the 1946 Test side that played the Great Britain Lions will join more than 120 former Kangaroos, New Zealand Kiwis and Great Britain Lions in the SCG Members Pavilion.

Media are invited to attend the event and are advised the helicopter, sponsored by the Men of League foundation, will arrive on the SCG turf at some time between 12pm and 12.15pm.

Current Kangaroos players such as NSW State of Origin captain Kurt Gidley will also be in attendance.
