VB Kangaroos winger Darius Boyd has been declared fit to play in Friday night’s VB Test against New Zealand at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.

Boyd completed yesterday’s training session and has today been passed fit to play.

Canberra’s Joel Monaghan, who was on standby for Boyd, will leave camp this morning to join the Country Origin side in Orange.

VB Kangaroos fullback Billy Slater is continuing to receive treatment to an ankle injury suffered yesterday. An update on his condition will be provided later today.

No decision has yet been made as to whether a shadow player will be brought into the squad.

Four members of the VB Kangaroos will be at Rebel Sports in Brisbane’s Queen St Mall today at 12pm for a signing session.
